/ Georgian Bluffs
This master-planned community is integrated with Cobble Beach Golf Club, a world-class golf course designed by Doug Carrick. With a picturesque setting providing stunning views of Georgian Bay, Cobble Beach offers a variety of community amenities integrated into a village centre, including an inn and spa and various recreational and retail facilities.
Located in the northwest part of the charming town of Ajax, Riverside Enclaves is a residential development that strikes a harmonious balance between the convenience of urban amenities and the serene beauty of nature.
The development was planned with a variety of dwelling types and sizes to provide a wide range of housing options for future residents. The thoughtful design of the community puts a school and park close to all of the homes.
Spanning an area of 160 hectares, Westminster Woods features residential neighbourhoods with approximately 2,300 units, ranging from single-family homes and townhouses to mid-rise condominiums. There are also places of worship, elementary schools and plenty of open space in the area, making these amenities readily accessible to residents.
With more than 2,100 dwelling units spread over 155 hectares, Westmount offers well-planned residential neighbourhoods that integrate seamlessly with linked parks and green belts, as well as commercial and institutional spaces. The community’s pleasant streetscapes feature award-winning roundabouts that act as traffic-calming features and help to create a safer environment for residents.
The community features approximately 1,400 low-density units, 400 high-density housing units and roughly 200,000 square feet of retail space, which are integrated into thoughtfully designed neighbourhoods surrounding a central public plaza. An additional 46 acres of highway commercial land round out the development.
The plaza comprises a cluster of three commercial buildings. Following a rigorous planning and design process that took into account local requirements, this site is now home to various much-needed services, including a BMO bank, daycare, medical practices and restaurants.
Featuring a daycare, restaurant, yoga studio and other amenities, the plaza offers people the convenience of completing various daily errands within one compact location. It is situated at the entrance to the Alton Business Park, allowing people who work there to gain easy access to the plaza’s businesses without the need to travel far.
Using “new to Oakville” design standards, this project introduced a more compact built form into the neighbourhood while helping the town and region utilize existing infrastructure more efficiently.
This single lot severance and minor variances is a project typical of our work and attention to detail for single lot developments within the City of Toronto.
The objective of this project was to enable the owner to obtain building permits for a beautiful new house that will enhance the streetscape and be a welcome addition to the neighbourhood.
