Cobble Beach is a four-season community located along the shoreline of Georgian Bay in the Township of Georgian Bluffs, just 9km north of Owen Sound.
This master-planned community is integrated with Cobble Beach Golf Club, a world-class golf course designed by Doug Carrick. With a picturesque setting providing stunning views of Georgian Bay, Cobble Beach offers a variety of community amenities integrated into a village centre, including an inn and spa and various recreational and retail facilities.
DPS has been working with Ian McLeese since 2005 to help plan this community’s residential and commercial components and bring them to life through Official Plan and Zoning By-law Amendments.
The community features a range of housing types, from luxury single-family detached houses to multiple attached clusters available for both freehold and condominium ownership. Cobble Beach spans 574 acres and can accommodate approximately 3,000 residents.
Design Plan Services Inc. was retained by Georgian Villas Inc. to provide expertise in obtaining the Official Plan Amendment, Zoning By-law Amendment, Draft Plan of Subdivision, and Redline Revision of Draft Plan of Subdivision for this project.
